If, however, you wish to receive the FURFIN newsletter, you are required to provide certain Personal Information (ie:  your first and last name and e-mail address) in order to receive the newsletter. We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding the Site and the Service that we think you may find valuable. We do not sell or rent our mailing lists or email lists.

REMOVAL OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you would like to remove your Personal Information from our email database, please contact us by using our Contact Form with "remove personal information" as the subject line. Please note that any Personal Information that we have copied may remain in back-up storage for some period of time after your request. Also, please note that we will maintain Personal Information in our database whenever we are required to do so by law.

SECURITY

We have implemented reasonable measures to help protect your Personal Information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access or disclosure. However, because email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure communications, we request that you not send private information to us by email or instant messaging services. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure and as a result, we cannot guarantee its security.

The Site and the Service links to other web sites and FURFIN is not responsible or liable for the privacy policies of Third Party Sites. If you decide to leave the Site or the Service to access or use the Third Party Sites, you do so at your own risk and you should be aware that our terms and policies no longer govern. You should direct any concerns regarding the privacy policies of Third Party Sites to the site administrator or webmaster of such site.
